About

I’m a stop motion animator and fabricator based in Portland, OR. My current focus is non-fiction animation. I am interested in memoir, black experience, and family dynamics.

In my personal work, I strive to make things as “by hand” as possible by incorporating thrifted and recycled materials into the puppets, costumes, and sets.

I have just recently completed my BFA in Animated Arts at Pacific Northwest College of Art. In November 2019, I completed my thesis film The Distance, a 2 minute non-fiction stop motion short about the nebulous and ever-changing perspective of being a biracial African American.
